“There is no standard normal. Normal is subjective. There are seven billion versions of normal on this planet.” - Matt Haig

Hello and welcome! Whether you are new to therapy or returning, know that you are not alone in your situation. Maybe you’re dealing with anxiety, relationship difficulties, a recent loss, or another difficult life transition. If you’re here, then you’ve chosen to take your first step on a journey of self-discovery and growth. Deciding to seek help is difficult and I want to personally congratulate you for your strength and courage.

Therapy is a process that requires tailoring to each unique individual. My therapy style is best described as eclectic and person-centered in that I take into account and explore all aspects of your life. In our time together I hope to create a safe, warm and inviting environment that fosters positivity and curiosity toward change you want to see in your life. We will collaborate together to find solutions and ensure you leave our sessions feeling empowered and understood. Throughout our work, you can expect regular check-ins about strategies we implement to modify my approach around what best suits you.

As someone with late-diagnosed ADHD who has been on their own therapeutic journey, I understand many of the unique difficulties that come with neurodiversity. Many adults with ADHD struggle due to lack of awareness, education, and social stigma that comes with a label. If you are interested in exploring further, I would love to chat with you about ADHD norms as we help you attain a better sense of personal control and self-awareness. I can provide knowledge and resources while having the added benefit of understanding what it’s like to live with an ADHD brain.

I moved to Austin seven years ago and have gained experience over that time working with adults, couples, adolescents, and families in a variety of settings including therapy practices, high schools, and juvenile detention centers. I have also worked with clients on a wide variety of issues such as trauma, interpersonal conflicts, family dynamics, relationship difficulties, life transitions, depression, anxiety, and more. Outside of Therapy Austin you can catch me climbing with friends, paddle-boarding, painting, cooking, jogging, or relaxing with my orange tabby cat Peaches! I also love exploring cool places around Austin with my partner.

If you are interested in working together, please feel free to reach out to me by phone at 512-201-4501 ext 315 or by filling out the appointment request form on our website.
