Teletherapy

We are offering both online and in-person counseling sessions. All teletherapy services are conducted via Zoom, a completely secure video & phone platform. You will still meet with a licensed staff counselor who receives ongoing training from our Leadership Team and specialized teletherapy training from our Training Manager and Clinical Director. Therapy Austin Staff Counselors and clients report that these sessions can sometimes be even more productive than in-person sessions.
Teletherapy is a good option for clients who live in Texas but outside our Austin-metro area, who want to reduce their exposure to health risks, who have transportation or commuting challenges, or who simply prefer to access counseling from the comfort of their own space.

It might be difficult to believe that life can get better. But just by considering therapy, you’ve already taken the first step. You have the insight to realize something isn’t working, and the courage to face it ...

Something has happened. It may be something painfully apparent. A loved one has tragically passed, or a relationship has come to a bitter end. It can also be something agonizingly vague. A nagging sense that something just isn’t quite right anymore. Over the course of many years or mere moments we may find ourselves somehow different. Changed. Grasping for clarity, but mired in turmoil.
What I offer in therapy ...

Hello and welcome. Whether this your first or fiftieth experience with counseling I welcome you with non-judgment, open arms and acceptance.
I believe that because we all are relational, people are wired for and dependent on relationships with others. Also, I am acutely aware that a positive therapeutic relationship plays a crucial role in the success of our work together. Therefore, I feel honored and privileged when clients trust ...

I navigate from the belief that we all have a personal story to tell, make sense of, and hopefully heal from. As a counselor, my hope is that you can find that space in our sessions.
A major principle that guides my work is the belief that you are the expert of your own experience. To better support you, I place particular importance in the relationship you and I ...
