Main Location
Tucked into a neighborhood bordering the bustling lower Burnet Road area, this is the original location of Therapy Austin. Though the smallest of all of our office suites with only three counseling offices, these tall-ceilinged, light-filled spaces carry the most history of our agency. The metal peacock in the hallway named “George” is in honor of a previous landlord who encouraged the Managing Partners to purchase this property in 2011. Their names are still posted on the doors of the offices they practiced out of before giving them over completely to the agency’s Staff Counselors. Family heirlooms are scattered about, including a Tree of Life wool wall hanging purchased in Nuevo Laredo in the 1960’s. Wood floors and throw rugs add to the beauty and comfort of this location, along with our ever-present tea station where you can quench your thirst with cold water or warm yourself with hot tea.
Any mail correspondence should be sent to this location.
Directions
Continue from Burnet & W. 51st to 1415 W. 51st, the third property on the right. Please park in the street and be thoughtful about avoiding our neighbors' driveways. Our Main Office is in a two-story green building, with a second-story porch. Enter the front door on the bottom floor and look to your left for the lighting system to alert your counselor you have arrived. Turn to your right to find the lobby. Ahead of you in the hallway is a cold water and hot tea service. Please help yourself, then have a seat, make yourself comfortable and your counselor will join you shortly.
