Sorry! Billie is not accepting new clients at this time.

“Your pain is the breaking of the shell that encloses
your understanding.

Even as the stone of the fruit must break, that its
heart may stand in the sun, so must you know pain.

And could you keep your heart in wonder at the
daily miracles of your life, your pain would not seem
less wondrous than your joy;

And you would accept the seasons of your heart,
even as you have always accepted the seasons that
pass over your fields.

And you would watch with serenity through the
winters of your grief.”

Kahlil Gibran

Hello! My name is Billie and I would love to work with you. Pursuing therapy is a brave decision and can require a leap of faith. This choice may be fraught with challenges, but those challenges also have the potential to bring new insight and change. As we understand our own minds and hearts and what works for us as individuals, we can grow into a more fulfilling life. I believe that our differences are what make us unique and individual and have a great potential to join us rather than divide us. I bring an open mind and an appreciation for the unique needs, experiences and identities you bring to therapy. Thank you for considering me as a potential supporter of your journey.

Therapy is not one size fits all. Each person who seeks services with me will be treated as the beautifully unique being that you are. We would form a partnership to explore and learn about your particular needs and strengths together. At times, we all need help tapping into our innate tenacity and wisdom in order to heal. Your coping strategies may have outlasted their usefulness in your life. Together we can honor the benefits they have brought you in the past while learning new effective skills to enhance your daily life and wellness. Additionally, you will receive support to explore the deeper roots of the issues you may be struggling with. I will wholeheartedly invest in this journey and work side by side with you as we navigate your process as a team.

I provide a positive and strengths-based approach to healing, and have skills and knowledge in working with trauma, child abuse, domestic abuse and sexual violence, dissociation, oppression, and stress. I have over twenty years of experience mentoring and supporting people living with: trauma and dissociation; disability and neurodivergence; and LGBTQQIA+ identity. I received my Masters in Social Work (MSW) from The University of Southern California in 2020, and my Licensed Master Social License (LMSW) in 2021. During that time, I was introduced to the strengths-based approach that emphasizes the skills and tools that you bring to our work together. I have been studying mindfulness for over 25 years and I would love to share that knowledge with you as well.

I am happy to work with you from an empathetic and strengths-based perspective. If you would be interested in working with me, know that you would be in a judgment-free zone with a person who is willing and able to think outside the box.
