"Positive vibes only’ isn’t a thing. Humans have a wide range of emotions and that’s OK” Molly Bahr

Hi there!

My name is Tryna, and welcome to Therapy Austin! I understand It can be scary starting your therapeutic journey, and it takes an incredible amount of courage to do so. As a therapist, it is my priority to create a safe and supportive space for you to be vulnerable and process your feelings.

I believe therapy is a powerful tool that can be used to gain a deeper understanding of oneself and open doors to a more fulfilling and peaceful life. There are times when some seasons in life are heavier than others and having support through them can bring hope and relief. I would be honored to be a part of whichever season you find yourself in!

My Approach is person-centered. My view is that you are the expert in your life and my role is to collaborate and provide you support as you listen to your inner voice. I work with all types of folks who may need assistance with boundaries, anxiety, depression, personal relationships, adjustment problems, life transitions,  and relationship issues.

A little about me: I am from Fort Worth, Texas and I am excited to be an official resident of Austin. I received my Bachelor's degree in Psychology at Texas State University and my Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from Capella University. Outside of therapy I enjoy spending time with loved ones and my dogs Growlithe and Gible. (Yes, they are named after Pokemon!) I am also a fan of finding new spots to eat around the city. Thank you for checking out my profile. If you feel as if we would be a good fit please reach out and I will get back to you!
