"Never believe anyone who says you don’t deserve what you want.” Taylor Swift
It's very common in life to feel stuck, like you're in a washing machine where the spin cycle won’t stop, with more water just rushing in. When our world is spinning so fast, we may feel overwhelmed and a lot of our fears and insecurities can come out. Am I doing this right? Why won't this work? Am I enough? If you’re here it means you recognize that now is the time for ending cycles and healing. As a therapist, it is my goal to create a safe space that allows you to work through feelings, be vulnerable, and strengthen your relationship with yourself and others.
I work with clients collaboratively to help navigate the challenges of life by being warm, nonjudgmental, and curious. I believe in the importance of integrating past and present experiences, helping you explore areas of growth and peace. In a session with me, you can expect genuineness, respect, and compassion. I hope during our work together you gain insight, confidence, better communication skills, and self-acceptance. Some things we can work on together include partner/family relationships, life transitions, trauma, self esteem, depression, anxiety, and boundaries.
I work from a trauma-informed lens that draws from modalities that are attachment-based, person-centered, relational, and narrative. I work with individuals, couples, and families to help people heal and reconnect.
When I'm not in the therapy room or reading the latest booktok recommendation, coffee in hand, you can find me by the river with my beautiful dog. I also enjoy the nerdy things in life, such as comics, D&D, and board games.
If you feel like we’d be a good fit or have any questions, please give me a call at (512) 201-4501 x 284. Starting something new is hard, but you've got this!
