"Never believe anyone who says you don’t deserve what you want.” Taylor Swift
It's very common in life to feel stuck, like you're in a washing machine where the spin cycle won’t stop, with more water just rushing in. When our world is spinning so fast, we may feel overwhelmed and a lot of our fears and insecurities can come out. Am I doing this right? Why won't this work? Am I enough? If you’re here it means you recognize that now is the time for ending cycles and healing. As a therapist, it is my goal to create a safe space that allows you to work through feelings, be vulnerable, and strengthen your relationship with yourself and others.
I work with clients collaboratively to help navigate the challenges of life by being warm, nonjudgmental, and curious. I believe in the importance of integrating past and present experiences, helping you explore areas of growth and peace. In a session with me, you can expect genuineness, respect, and compassion. I hope during our work together you gain insight, confidence, better communication skills, and self-acceptance. Some things we can work on together include partner/family relationships, life transitions, trauma, anxiety, and boundaries.
I have experience working with a TF-CBT lens to help people heal and reconnect. I have worked with couples, individuals, groups, and families. I have provided support to individuals with self-esteem issues, family of origin issues, anxiety, trauma, and depression.
When I'm not in the therapy room or reading the latest self-help book with a coffee in hand, you can find me by the river with my beautiful dog. I also enjoy the nerdy things in life, such as comics, D&D, and board games.
If you feel like we’d be a good fit or have any questions, please give me a call. I look forward to supporting you in your healing process.
