Hi there!

You may be going through a difficult time, or you may just want to have a space that is safe for self-exploration. Either way, take a second and think of the huge step you are taking towards supporting yourself. By seeking help, you are making choices to be an active participant in your own life, even if doing so might make you uncomfortable at first. That is amazing, and I hope you are proud of yourself! You deserve a supportive space to reflect on your personal experiences with someone who will give you unconditional positive regard—full acceptance of who and what you bring to the session—and that is what I am here for.

In our sessions, we will work together to explore your past and present experiences, emotions, values, and strengths—the things that make you unique. I aim to provide a warm, caring, and judgment‑free zone where you are welcome as you are. It will be my pleasure to be by your side as a guide and cheerleader to help you cultivate a healthy relationship with yourself and with those around you.

I come from a Person-centered therapeutic stance and utilize Mindfulness, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Strength‑based approach, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to facilitate growth. I have experience working with clients undergoing stress and anxiety, low mood and depression, self‑exploration, LGBTQIA+ issues, and harmful parenting. I am LGBTQIA+ affirming and culturally sensitive.

I received my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Louisiana Tech University. Outside of my sessions, I love reading, binging TV shows, spending time with the people I love, and traveling. I recently got to visit Nepal with my husband to spend time with family and immerse in his culture. This is where I learned how to truly value and respect different cultures and how to navigate cultural differences.

You already have everything within you that is needed to be successful in your journey. You are full of unique strengths and values that can be utilized to help you get through hard times and to make the good times even better. You are worth putting the work in, and I would love to be there to support you every step of the way.

If you are interested in working with me, please do not hesitate to reach out. I look forward to being a part of your journey!
