Are you struggling with transition, grieving a loss, or feeling overwhelmed with changes occurring in your life? Or are you feeling stuck and unsure how to go about making a change? Are you experiencing conflict or feeling disconnected from others or yourself? I work with individuals and couples from all backgrounds who are confronting a range of issues, including identity struggles, infidelity, parenting challenges, trauma, and grief.
My work is informed by my knowledge of human development, relationship dynamics, and the change process. I am direct, conversational, and full of humor. I offer goal-oriented therapy and seek to build an atmosphere of trust, openness, honesty, and safety. My therapy is based on better understanding the systems that we are part of rather than finding fault. Please ask questions, voice any concerns about the therapy process, and take each session as a step.
I have worked in group practice for the last decade. I hail from South Africa but have lived in Texas since I was a small child. I love spending time with my funny family: I am married with two children and a puppy named Puck. Connection, experience, and laughter are the mainstays in our home.
Coming to therapy is always a choice, and hopefully, you can make that choice with as much knowledge as possible so you can decide for yourself if we are a good match. I have been told that the biggest challenge in getting help is making that first call. Please reach out! I am happy to hear from you prior to our first session. You can reach me at 512-201-4501 x 305
