Hello there! The choice to commit to bettering yourself and your relationships is one of the most important ones you will make. By taking the time to come to my page, you’ve already made an important step towards growth and healing.
I come from a person- centered and holistic mindset utilizing CBT techniques. I strive to create an authentic, accepting, and open environment for you to feel completely safe and comfortable in. Together we will process what you’re going through, analyze patterns, create goals, and work towards growth.
I work with both individuals and couples and have experience working with anxiety, depression, grief, life transitions, and identity issues. My work is LGBTQIA+ affirming because our identities are sacred. I enjoy working with couples of all types (married, unmarried, premarital, and nontraditional). I believe that relationships are the most rewarding aspects of our lives. Relationships can be complex, but partners who are truly committed to the process can overcome trauma and past wounds to build more beautiful and fulfilling partnerships.
I grew up in the pacific northwest then went to Baylor University for my undergraduate degree in Psychology and played for the Baylor Women’s Soccer Team. Afterwards, I completed my Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Wake Forest University. Outside of counseling I enjoy exercising, reading, playing with my cat, and spending time with my loved ones.
I look forward to getting to know you and working with you. My greatest wish for my clients is for them to live truly meaningful and fulfilling lives.
