“You will face many defeats in life, but never let yourself be defeated.” Maya Angelou

I love watching movies. Similarly to a movie, we must deal with our own hero arc as well as our own life-changing surprises.  My goal is to empower clients to accept themselves, become more self-aware, and feel confident despite life's plot twists. I cater to my clients' needs with a warm, down-to-earth, and fun therapeutic approach.

Each session is tailored to the unique needs of each client. My goal is to get to know you and what you love. Change can be facilitated by incorporating your personality into each session. Let me know what books you read, TV shows you watch, music you listen to, and movies you love. A person's interests can reveal a lot about them. I encourage individuals to build a persevering self-image, express their emotions constructively, and build healthy relationships with others. I also believe in our passion, we find our strengths, our voice, and our ability to heal. Clients could use their passion to amplify coping skills to deal with life's hardships.

As a nerd in this world, I tend to use a lot of pop culture references for understanding and to make our time together pleasurable. My interests include books, anime, Marvel movies, fantasy movies, and crossword puzzles.

I love working with parents, and helping clients with interpersonal relationships and adverse childhood experiences. My specialties include working with mood disorders, multicultural/diverse individuals, and attachment theory. I am also experienced in working with anxiety, and depression, and I am an LGBTQIA+ ally.

Let’s work together to rewrite your story and embark on a journey toward growth and self-discovery.
