Welcome! I’m so glad you’re here! First and foremost, I want to commend
you on taking the first step of being open to therapy. Therapy is highly
stigmatized in our society and can be a scary thing to try, especially if you
haven’t been brought up to think of it as an option or if asking for help is
difficult for you to do. Let’s face it: life can be really, really hard. My job is to
collaborate with you and provide you with the tools to navigate it.
I love hearing my clients’ stories and honoring their unique identities.
Making sure clients feel safe and heard in our interactions is of high
importance to me. I strive to create an environment where empathy,
authenticity, and open-mindedness are at the forefront each time we meet.
No matter what issues or concerns are brought up in the room, I aim to
address them through a trauma-informed, anti-oppressive, intersectional
lens. It’s a strong belief of mine that systemic issues are, often times, at the
root of why so many folks struggle with their mental health. It’s important to
me to validate how my clients are feeling, remind them that the trauma
they’ve experienced is not their fault, and provide them with hope for the
