Welcome! I’m so glad you’re here!
Thank you for your interest and your curiosity in therapy. Whether you’re just wanting to learn more or feel ready to take the leap, you’re in the right place. Therapy is highly stigmatized in our society and can be a scary thing to try, especially if you haven’t been brought up to think of it as an option or if asking for help is difficult for you to do. Let’s face it: life can be really, really hard. My job is to collaborate with you and provide you with the tools to navigate it.
As someone who identifies as neurodivergent and chronically ill, I understand the importance of affirming care. If we work together, you can expect to find a therapist who cares about creating a space where you can feel safe and be your most authentic self without judgement. Maybe you’ve experienced trauma or adversity, or you’re looking for a place to unpack the stresses from your day. Maybe you’re curious about exploring a new side of yourself, or you’re dealing with a major life change. Whatever the case may be, you’ll be met with acceptance, authenticity, and open-mindedness.
No matter what issues or concerns are brought up in the room, I aim to address them through a trauma-informed, anti-oppressive lens. I am EMDR trained, but I practice relationally and integrate different therapeutic approaches depending on your needs. Some other therapeutic modalities I enjoy using include Internal Family Systems (IFS), psychodynamic theory, narrative therapy, and mindfulness, among others. My areas of interest include helping clients navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, LGBTQ+ issues and/or identity exploration, ADHD and neurodivergence, chronic illness, and life transitions.
When I’m not at work, I love napping with my dog, hiking, eating ramen, and going to flea markets.

Dream Vacation: I would love to visit Tokyo one day.
Favorite place in Austin: Mayfield Park. I love visiting the peacocks and going on a peaceful hike.
I feel happiest when... I cuddle with my dog, eat really good food, and/or come across a treasure at the thrift store or an estate sale.
Favorite part about working at Therapy Austin: The community of wonderful, conscientious, and kind therapists, and the amazing trainings that are offered!
