Welcome to Therapy Austin.
By seeking guidance through challenging times you are taking the first step towards increased peace, satisfaction, and control in your life! I believe therapy is a powerful tool to manifest change and the results can beautifully impact all aspects of our being. My personal experience in therapy has cultivated a deep respect for the process.
I provide a therapeutic relationship grounded in absolute non-judgment and genuine authenticity. I recognize to do vulnerable work; you must feel safe, open and accepted. This is your path and I honor exactly where you are. You cannot shock me, so fear not! I will warmly accompany you on your journey to being your best self. Together we will address the areas of your life you wish to see transformation and healing by identifying significant patterns and behaviors. What do you want to change? What no longer serves its purpose?
My goal is for you to live a balanced life full of meaning and happiness. My approach is holistic, person-centered, and strength-based. I utilize mindfulness techniques such as bringing self-awareness to the body, breath, and thought. I have experience with individuals, couples, non-traditional relationships, caregivers, the chronically-ill, and am LGBTQIA+ affirming.
A little about me: I have a passion for international travel, culture, and food. I find joy in cooking, tending to my plants, reading mystery novels, and spending time with my dog. I grew up in Austin and love our live music scene! I received a degree in Psychology from the University of Texas and a Masters of Social Work from Texas State University.
