Emotion regulation includes understanding our emotions, why we have them, and what to do with them when we have feelings we are uncomfortable with or feel overwhelmed by. This training will utilized the skills outlined in DBT for both our clients and ourselves.
After this training, participants will be able to:
1. Understanding what emotions are and why we have them
2. Explore skills used to manage and use emotions for improved communications
3. Experience how to use DBT handouts within the context of an individual therapy session
