Welcome – I’m glad to have you here! 

While attending an international high school abroad, I developed a deep appreciation for cultural diversity and for every person’s unique life experiences. I enjoy providing support to my clients as they navigate periods of transition and hardship. During especially difficult times we may realize that our coping skills aren’t as effective or healthy as we would like. If you find yourself feeling easily overwhelmed, having a hard time getting along in your relationships, or dealing with difficult emotions, I’d like to help you. Therapy can help us discover ways that our mind and body are capable of bringing about healing and change in different areas of our lives. I’m here to join you as you begin your journey of self-exploration, growth and healing.

I value the connection I share with my clients, which is based on open, honest and collaborative communication. My approach to counseling is grounded in compassion, curiosity, and an attentive and non-judgmental presence. In order to have a strong relationship with my clients I make it a priority to help empower them and create a safe space for meaningful change to take place. 

I help clients address a wide range of issues including: depression, anxiety, substance abuse, life transitions, relationship and communication issues, low self-compassion and self-worth, people pleasing, and unresolved trauma and shame. I work with clients to improve their ability to form meaningful relationships, strengthen coping skills, and improve assertive communication and boundary-setting. I incorporate principles from brain science and neurobiology research, CBT techniques, and EMDR, among other therapies in my work with clients. I also use Mindfulness to help clients explore their experiences in a more open and non-judgmental way. 

When I am not in the office I enjoy spending time with family, my two sweet rescue dogs, and friends. I also enjoy Mindfulness and pilates, and scouting out new breakfast taco spots.
