Welcome to Therapy Austin! I’m so happy you have decided to take this step in your life and honored to be a part of your journey. Therapy for me has always been a safe place to be honest about who I am and who I want to be. I hope to bring that same experience into my sessions for you.
Therapy is the helping hand to reaching your goals, exploring true self care, and reaching new heights of understanding about who you are. I am lighthearted in session but will be direct and will always treat you as an individual. Each client is different, and my approach will be catered to who you are and what is going to work best for you. I am accepting of all walks of life and hold a non-judgmental, empathetic, and welcoming space for all people to explore deeply into who they are.
My therapy style is rooted in a person-centered, holistic approach, that will take all aspects of your life into account and strive to bring you balance and peace. We will work on how to self-regulate and become mindful of your wants and needs, gaining confidence to give those to yourself. My goal is to help you be the best version of yourself you can be and to leave therapy happy with who you are, and confident in your continuing growth and future goals.
I moved to Austin a few years ago after finishing grad school. Since then I have gained further experience working with individuals and couples on issues including trauma recovery, life transitions, depression, anxiety, existential struggles, various relationship and sexual lifestyles, struggles with identity, and more. When I’m not at Therapy Austin I am most likely at home with my partner and dog, Nugget. I can typically be found playing board games, running D&D, painting, cooking, inventing new cocktails, or maintaining my aquariums. I love having people over and introducing them to new nerdy mediums or creative outlets. I love going out to find the secrets that Austin has to offer and exploring new places and activities with my partner.
